Once again, Chicago has something to be proud of.
— Chris Spector, Midwest Record
Luchs is a sort of Sybil... He can be hard driving and percussive, delicate and wispy, dissonant and jangly, or full of swells all in the same tune.
— Hobert Taylor, KUCI Jazz
I think you’re gonna dig this one! A fantastic guitarist.
— Paul Abella, WDCB Jazz
There is no doubt he is ready.
— Dave Rogers, WTJU Radio
Hans Luchs plays a tasty guitar.
— Dan McClenaghan, AllAboutJazz
Luchs’ passionate swells of notes advance with furious alacrity.
— Hrayr Attarian, Chicago Jazz Magazine
